Emergency Meeting held at Goodison Park.

Present:-Mr. F. Micklesfield (Chair.) and all
other Directors, Manager & Secy. in attendance.
HICKSON. D. An offer from Liverpool F. C. of £10,000.0.0
22. for the transfer of Hickson plus his accrued
share of benefit amounting to £340.0.0 was
considered. On a proposition by Mr. E. Holland,
Hughes, seconded by Mr. J. C. Sharp it was
unanimously resolved that this offer be accepted.
It was agreed that a statement be issued to the
Press expressing appreciation of the services he had
rendered the club, a draft of which was approved.
BAKER Mr. Micklesfield reported that the
HIBS Chairman of Hibernians had reluctantly agreed
22 to meet him together with Mr. Carey tonight in
Edinburgh. They were given powers to negotiate for
the transfer of Baker up to £45,000.0.0.
SANDERS. A. Mr. Carey reported that Swansea were
22 not prepared to increase their offer of £5,000.0.0
for the transfer of Sanders, and this offer had
been accepted. Sanders was travelling to Swansea
and was expected to sign for them today.
CONWAY It was agreed that the Chairman and
(CELTIC) Manager should negotiate for this player if their
23 bid for Baker fails.
LAW It was agreed that this player
(HUDDERSFIELD) should be treated as priority No. 2.
