O'BRIEN It was agreed to sign this amateur
as a part-time professional if necessary.
F. Mackay A request from this player for his
7 contract to be cancelled was not granted.
T. V. It was agreed to allow the B. B. C. &
221 I. T. V. to film the training sessions, the I. T. V. fee
to go to the players as prizes for a Golf
competition. Mr. Askham dissented against the decision
to allow the B. B. C. facilities without a fee.
PITCH The report of the Royal Seed Establishment
247 on the state of the pitch was considered, and
it was agreed that Messrs F. Micklesfield and
E. Holland Hughes should arrange a meeting
with Bradshaw Bros. to ascertain their views
and what they were prepared to do with
regard to necessary remedial measures.
Cup TICKETS It was agreed that each Director be
36 allocated 200 Cup-tie tickets and an extra
50 for the Chairman in the Stands. The balance
to be disposed of by post as outlined.
Rating Mr. Hughes reported on his meeting with
