Reports Reports were given of the 1st Team game v
Portsmouth and of the 2nd Team game v

SANDERS A. It was reported that Leyton Orient had
229 made an offer of £8,000 for Sanders. It was
agreed to advice them that the Board would
consider an offer of £10,000.0.0.
DIRECTORS EXES. Mr. Balmforth reported from enquiries he
232 had made that benefits in kind were assessable
for Income Tax, but that expenses incurred
could be claimed from the allowances paid. It
was agreed that Mr. Balmforth together with
Mr. Hughes and the Secretary should see the
local Inspector with a view to making a
satisfactory compromise.
L'POOL ADULT It was agreed that an appeal from this
DEAF & DUMB SOC. Society should lie on the table.
HOSPITALS It was agreed to give permission for
BROADCAST the Hospital Broadcast to be relayed to the
