suggested that 9" forking be done between the
wires to get down to the ash. This was considered
possible by M. A. N. W. E. B. officials who had intimated
that it might be possible to locate and mark
the positions of the soil warming wires, to prevent
damage. It was agreed that should this be
possible the 9" forking as outlined should be
started as soon as possible if the officials of
M. A. N. W. E. B. were satisfied that the risk of damage
to the wires was negligible. Mr. Thompson agreed
with the suggestion of 9" forking, and Mr.
Escritt started that deep forking could ease the
situation.
It was resolved to obtain a second
opinion to endeavour to ameliorate the present
position to which Mr. Escritt agreed.

that this should be on the table.
