KIRBY F. C. had shown an interest in Kirby and

SWANSEA TOWN for Sanders. It was agreed that Mr. Carey
A. SANDERS should negotiate for a figure over £6000 for

GROUND Mr. Askham reported that the pitch
RECONSTRUCTION was in a bad state and had been visited
172 today by Mr. Eseritt of the Sports Turf Research
Institute. It had been arranged to apply
100 Tons of Gritty Sand and 5 Tons of
Gypsum to effect some improvement. It
was reported that all the heat of the soil
warming was now on.
CHARLEROI A letter was read intimating that
221 the proposed match at Charleroi had now
been cancelled.
PENNYFORD F. C. It was agreed not to subscribe to
a testimonial Fund to Mr. G. P. Jones,
Secretary of this club for 21 years, who
was retiring.
PRACTICE MATCH It was agreed to explore the
198 possibility of an away fixtures within 10
days of the opening of the season in lieu
of a Public Practice match.
