MR. E. HOLLAND Mr. Hughes was invited to attend the
HUGHES meeting at this gesture, to consider a letter
from the football association asking for observation
on a letter they had received from Mr. G. F.
Barton, a Shareholder of the Company, in which
the eligibility of Mr. Hughes to be elected as
a Director was questioned, in view of his
position as Secretary of the Pools Promoters
Association. It was resolved that a letter
be sent to the Football association, signed
by the Chairman, the draft of which is
annexed.
