It is proposed that a player who is injured while
playing, shall receive the same rate of pay as he was receiving
when injured, until such time as he is able to resume playing
again. In the case of prolonged injury, the case to be
reviewed at periods of one month.
Conditions governing payment of H. M. Forces players
remains unaltered i.e., £1 per week throughout the year plus
£6 per match when playing in 1st or 2nd teams and £4 per
match when playing in Junior Teams.
It is proposed to make the revised wage scales
effective from July 1st 1957 and the Playing Sub Committee
would appreciate if each Director would contact the Chairman,
Mr. J. C. Sharp, to signify approval or otherwise of this
proposal, in order that the Secretary may be able to put the
scheme into effect immediately upon his return.
