C. Perkins It was reported that C. Perkins was
70 leaving Australia on July 11th and was due in
London on Aug. 9th and it was agreed that he
should be met on arrival.
McILROY It was reported that this Scottish
Junior player, who had been well recommended
had decided to sign for Newcastle Utd.
PROGRAMMES In view of the reduced revenue from
57 advertisers it was agreed to reduce the number
of pages to 12 and the price to 3d.
Typist. The Secretary was authorised to obtain
the services of an extra typist in three weeks
time.
Football Assn. It was agreed to arrange for an F. A.
leaflet advertising the F. A. news to be included
with each programme for the opening game v
Wolves.
It was noted that the Lord Mayor
was to invite the Directors, Secretary & Manager
of Liverpool & Everton to Lunch on Oct. 9th prior to
Floodlit Match.
Liverpool County A request from this League to held their
Football Council A. G. M. at Goodison Park was not granted.
It was agreed to stage the England v
F. A. Scotland (under 23) match at Goodison Park, on
INTERNATIONAL March 12th, if selected, and to play under
MATCH Floodlights.
H. R. Pickering The resignation of Mr. Pickering to
74 terminate his employment on Aug. 31st was accepted.
Floodlit Match A letter was read from Julius ?
75 regarding the possibility of a Continental team
playing under Floodlight at Goodison Park on Oct. 30.
