THE FOLLOWING RECOMMENDATIONS WERE MADE:- Heating That the Maintenance Committee explore the poss- ibility of a more economical system of heating in view of the heavy costs of heating by electricity. Maintenance It was agreed to recommend that the following Work. necessary work be commenced during the close season. Drainage channel at bottom of stand £175 Stripping timber fascia to front of stand, scaling and painting steelwork, providing new steel bearers and sheeting £600 New W. C.'s (by own staff) Boys' Enclosure. Goal Stand (Old Gym) Two Ladies Shareholders Stand One Ladies £200 Renew broken glazing £100 It was left to the Chairman of the Finance Committee to discuss with the Chairman of the Maintenance Committee the possibility of deferring the balance of external pointing to the Goodison Road Stand until a later date. Audit Consideration was given to a request from our Fee Auditors to include the cost of preparing the monthly financial statement in the Audit Fee at a new increased figure. The Committee, however, felt that it was advisable to have the additional work charged for separately as hitherto, without increasing the amount of the Audit Fee.
