Loan It was resolved unanimously that
the generous offer made by Mr. John Moores,
through Mr. Askham, to loan this club a sum
of Eighteen Thousand pounds, free of interest or
RESCINDED security to finance the Floodlighting Scheme
5 MARCH 1957 be accepted, and that the Board will invite
Mr. Askham to occupy the Chairmanship of
of the Finance Committee, of three members,
from June next and during the period of
the paid loan. Repayment of the paid loan
to be made in the following terms:-
Six thousand pounds in 1960. Six thousand
pounds in 1961, and Six thousand pounds in 1962.
Fixtures It was agreed that our postponed game
35 with Bolton Wanderers should be re-arranged
for Saturday Apl. 27th at Bolton.
