Includes minutes of general meetings, annual general meetings, sub-committee meetings, requisitioned meeting, emergency meetings. 6 Nov 1956 it was reported that the Ladies' Room would be ready shortly. 13 Nov 1956 it was agreed that any lady in the Directors' Box could use the Ladies' Room. 8 Jan 1957 it was agreed that methods of financing the floodlighting scheme be investigated. 29 Jan 1957 it was agreed to approach G.E.C. to discuss modifying the arrangements for paying for the floodlighting scheme. 19 Feb 1957 it was agreed to accept a loan from John Moores. 5 Mar 1957 it was agreed to rescind the minute accepting a loan from J. Moores. 26 Mar 1957 a letter had been received from Liverpool F.C. accepting an offer to play the first floodlit match at Goodison Park. A sub-committee was set up to arrange details. 2 Apr 1957 it was agreed to accept a loan of 18,000 from J. Moores. 8 Jul 1957 it was agreed to issue a statement agreeing to a return floodlit match against Liverpool F.C. on 30 Oct 1957. 23 Jul 1957 it was reported that B. Labone had been signed. 26 Jul 1957 it was agreed to sign D. Hickson. 24 Sep 1957 it was reported that the players were to have a short training session under the lights. 1 Oct 1957 it was reported that the fluorescent jerseys had been satisfactory and it was agreed to order a set. 15 Oct 1957 it was reported that players had complained about the suitability of the fluorescent strip. 18 Feb 1958 it was agreed to go on a tour of Denmark, Germany and Belgium. 24 Mar 1958 it was agreed to incorporate warming wires on the pitch to heat it. 14 Mar 1958 it was agreed to purchase drainage equipment for the ground. 25 Jul 1958 it was agreed that an offer of 5,000 from Plymouth F.C. for D. Hickson be accepted. 16 Sep 1958 it was proposed that a team manager with playing experience of 1st Division football should be appointed. 19 Sep 1958 it was reported that J. Carey had intimated that he was willing to accept the post as team manager. 22 Sep 1958 J. Carey was appointed team manager. 13 Nov 1958 it was reported that the pitch was in a bad state as a result of inadequate drainage. 10 Feb 1959 a sub-committee was formed to manage the remedial work to be carried out on the pitch by Bradshaw Bros. 17 Mar 1959 E. H. Hughes reported the results of his negotiations with I. C. Buchan for the termination of his employment. 28 Apr 1959 it was reported that the Club would tour Spain. 19 Jun 1959 J.
