W. Haughey Confirmation was given to the signing
of William Haughey from Larkhall Thistle
at a fee of £850.0.0. and for him to be
given the tenancy of 24, Goodison Avenue.
H. Potts It was reported that H. Potts had
168 been appointed coach to Wolverhampton
Wanderers F. C.
Ian Buchan It was agreed, at Mr. Buchan's
246 request, that his engagement starts on
July 14th 1956.
Travel Consideration was given to the
advisability of travelling 1st Class by train
on long journeys, and the matter was
deferred till the next Meeting so that the
increase in cost could be ascertained.
Skelmersdale F. C. It was reported that we would
50 not be sharing this ground, as the 'A'
team would play at Bellefield. It was
agreed to pay Skelmersdale F. C. the sum
of £52 for the construction of toilets.
H. R. Pickering It was resolved that Mr. H. R.
237 208 Pickering be appointed Administrative Officer
(Playing Staff).
Tennis Courts A request from Mr. H. G. Bushell
for occasional use of the Tennis Courts
at Bellefield was not granted.
Derby City F. C. At the request of Derby County F. C.
it was agreed that the K. O. for our
central League match at Derby on Jan. 19th
be 3 p.m.
F. A. It was agreed to offer the use
187 of our ground for the 'B' International,
England v Scotland on 13 March 1957,
should it be required.
