Dear Sir,
Mr. Bryson is unfortunately indisposed and is likely to
be for some time and the writer is attending to certain matters
arising between yourself and The Everton Football Club Company
Limited during his absence.
The directors of the Club are desirous that the points
at issue between the Club and you as regards (a) the motor car
(b) the life policy and (c) the arrears of rent to the termination
of your agreement should be disposed of before the end of the Club's
financial year on the 5th instant.
We therefore enclose an account with regard to these three
matters and the Club’s cheque for £318.14.0 in your favour and
certificate H.185 in respect of the tax deducted from the policy
payments. We also enclose a form of receipt which we shall be
glad if you will sign and return to us at your convenience.
The directors ask us to say that se: regards your
proposed purchase of number 39 Southport road the offer for you to
purchase the property at £3750 will remain open for four weeks
from this date.
