Walter Scott A letter of thanks was read
155 from this ex-player for the financial
help given to him.
Peterson Mr. Britton reported that a South
African player, Peterson aged 18 had
been strongly recommended, and it was
agreed that effort be made to get
him to sign for us. A Danish
schoolboy O. L. had also been
recommended and the boys parents were
willing to allow him to come for a
trial to which the F. A. offered no
objections.
It was reported that McNamara
was progressing favourably, but there
was little improvement in Lindsey.
Donovan had been reported fit to play
although he still felt some pain
