SUB-COMMITTEE MEETING HELD AT GOODISON PARK. Thursday, November 16, 1650. Present:- Messrs R. E. Searle (Chair.); E. Green; W. C. Gibbins and F. W. Lake. Secretary in attendance. STAND PAINTING. It was agreed that the Bullens Rd. and Goodison Avenue Stands were badly in need of painting, and that prices should be obtained with certain work on guttering of Bullens Rd., to be added. BULLENS RD. SEAT BRACKETS. It was also decided that estimates be obtained for at least 200 seat brackets to enable our joiner to carry out renewals were required. BANK CHARGES. It was reported that Mr. George Bowler and the Secretary had attended at the Midland Bank, and the final proposals submitted had been that cheques up to £1,000 should be at 1/6d %, and over that figure at 1/- per cheque. Noted that the Bank Rate of 4% could not be reduced. MISS MILNE. Agreed that this employee should be granted a 10/- per week increase in her wages. E. STOREY. Noted that this employee was absent from duty, due to an attack of enter- itis. MOTOR-COACH PARTIES. The idea of booking accommodation for these for League matches was mooted, and it was decided that the Chairman make further en- quiries, and the matter be dealt with at a later Meeting. MAINTENANCE It was agreed that in view of the extension of our properties, an additional jobber be secured, and in addition that E. Dillon be sounded as to the possibility of this return to the staff on a full-time basis.
