THE FOLLOWING RECOMMENDATIONS WERE MADE:-
Electricity The Secretary reported that the new scale of charges for
Charges. electricity would show an increase of approximately £700
per annum and it was agreed that Mr. Sharp and the Sec-
retary consult Mr. Aird for further advice before accepting
the proposal submitted.
Geyser. It was agreed to ascertain if a more suitable type of
geyser for use in the kitchen could be obtained and the
approximate cost.
T. Sinker. It was reported that this former employee was due to
start work on the 29th September and a request for more
money was deferred for one month.
Glazing Estimates from Messrs. Tysons Ltd. for £648 and Henshaws
Bullens Rd. for £716 for glazing repairs and the fixing of wire guards
to the Bullens Road stand were considered. It was agreed
that Tysons tender be accepted, subject to a revised price
to cover 3/4" mesh for the wire guards and the replacing of
all existing plain glass with wire reinforced glass.
