Managers		It was reported that Leyland was the

		the professional staff of 51, 9 were in the
		Forces and 9 were part time players. Tomlinson
		and Kirby had signed as part-time professionals
		and Rea as a full time player, and J. Keeley
		had joined the ground staff. Two Irish boys,
		an inside forward and a wing half, who had
		been recommended, had signed and were due to
		come over for a months trial.
			It was agreed to play the game v the
		Army on Sept. 22nd and the Public
		Practice Match on Aug. 16th.
			It was reported that Falder had signed
		for Ellesmere Part.
			A latter of thanks for our donation
		of £250 was read from Bulfin Utd. F. C.

Prices of		It was agreed that they be as

Correspondence		Letters of thanks were read from
		H. R. Pickering, Mr. J. Parker, Darlington F. C.

			It was agreed to postpone our Central
		League Fixture with Wolves Res. at their request,
		to enable them to play the Champions v The
		Rest on Sept. 27th and re arrange provisionally
		for 10th Jan.
			A request from the Players Union for
		the release of players to take part in six-a-side
		games in Scotland for a Benevolent Fund was
		read, but was not favourably considered.
