Managers It was reported that Leyland was the

Forces and 9 were part time players. Tomlinson
and Kirby had signed as part-time professionals
and Rea as a full time player, and J. Keeley
had joined the ground staff. Two Irish boys,
an inside forward and a wing half, who had
been recommended, had signed and were due to
come over for a months trial.
It was agreed to play the game v the
Army on Sept. 22nd and the Public
Practice Match on Aug. 16th.
It was reported that Falder had signed
for Ellesmere Part.
A latter of thanks for our donation

A request from the Players Union for
the release of players to take part in six-a-side
games in Scotland for a Benevolent Fund was
read, but was not favourably considered.
