173 It was reported that a game was due to take place next week at Ellesmere Port in aid of the British Legion and Hickson, Sagar & McNamara had been asked to play. Mr. Britton gave a report of the Seasons working, and the Honours won by our Teams, together with the cost of the Junior Teams. It was reported that Sutherland was now out of Hospital. An expression of appreciation of the efforts made by the players & staff during the past season was proposed by Mr. Nuttall, seconded by Mr. Micklesfield and carried unanimously. Nominations 65. It was reported that nominations for election to the Brand in respect of Messrs R. A. Joynson, W. N. Sawyer, R. E. Searle and John Taylor, had been received.
