read & confirmed.
Finance Receipt reported was:-

Reports Mr. Green reported his visit to Ireland with
Dwyer 111. Mr. Britton. He thought Dwyer showed great
Shelbourne promise under wretched conditions. Mr. Britton
agreed and reported that he was suffering from
eye trouble and had to wear glasses off the
field and in his opinion was not worth
£5000. It was agreed that they both see him
again next Sunday with full powers to make
a decision.
Curtis This player was reported to be in his
Shelbourne 27 year and although he played strongly,
was not in Jones class on that showing.
McCall Mr. Britton reported that he had
Shelbourne arranged to see this player next Sunday, and
he proposed to bring him over for a months
trial.
Reports on the 1st Team game v Swansea
were given by Messrs E. Green, J. C. Sharp and
T. C. Nuttall, and on the 2nd Team game v
