Reports Reports on the 1st Team game v Notts County
were given by Messrs W. R. William, W. C. Gibbins, C. S. Baxter,
J. C. Sharp, H. R. William, N. W. Coffey, & T. C. Nuttall,
and on the 2nd Team game v Barnsley by
Mr. E. Green.
EIRE V GERMANY Mr. E. Green reported his visit to Dublin
for this game, in which Burke was the
outstanding Irish player, Ringstead (O. R. Sh Utd.)
had a very poor game, and looked like a novice.
Mr. Britton them reviewed the position
and reported that he had written to 15 Clubs
enquiring for players including 7 Centre Halves.
He did not think the players available would
improve our position, but a little more
favourable running of the ball would improve it.
