Green reported his visit to Dublin for this game, in which Burke was the outstanding Irish player, Ringstead (O. R. Sh Utd.) had a very poor game, and looked like a novice. Mr. Britton them reviewed the position and reported that he had written to 15 Clubs enquiring for players including 7 Centre Halves. He did not think the players available would improve our position, but a little more favourable running of the ball would improve it.
