SUB-COMMITTEE MEETING.
Held at Goodison Park. 27th Sept. 1951.
Present : Mr. W. R. Williams (Chair) and Messrs E. Green
and J. C. Sharp.
Manager & Secretary in attendance.
The following recommendations were made:
RENTS. In view of the increase in rates since 1939, it was
decided to pass on this increase to the tenants,
amounting to an increase of approximately 1/6 per
week for the Goodison Avenue Houses and 6, 8 and
10 Goodison Road. 10/2 per months for No 2 Goodison
Road, and 8/7 per month for No 4 Goodison Road.
2/- per week for the Walton Lane Houses, 1/6 per
week for No 5 Swanston Avenue and 1/- per week for
No 5 Golden Grove.
E. Dillon. It was agreed to instal a bath for this employee
in the Back Kitchen, without hot water, if it proved
that the room was big enough, and to increase his
wages by 10/- per week, such increase to be
retrospective from 11th March.
WAGES. Applications for an increase in wages on behalf
of W. Foster and T. Jones were considered. It was
agreed to offer them the choice of foregoing their
half day and being paid as stewards on Match days.
