Reports Messrs F. W. Lake & N. W. Coffey reported on
their visit to the Hearts v Raith Rovers game to
see the three inside forwards of Hearts.
Conn (I. R.) 5'7" or 8". Did not impress as
likely to strengthen our team.
Bauld (C. F.) age 27, 5'9" or 10". Although he
was better then anything we have, was not
impressive to be recommended.
Wardhough (I. L) age 25. 5'9" or 10" did not
compare with either Potts or Fielding.
McEwan (O. R.) Raith Rovers, age about 21-22
5'8" or 9" & 11 stone impressed greatly. He was
speedy, kicked well with either foot and was
quite fearless.
Colville (C. H.) Raith Rovers. This player who
was tall and well built, and good in the air,
was worth keeping in mind if not too old.
