It was reported that the away fixture with
Brentford had been re-arranged for Aug. 27th.
PUBLIC PRACTISE This was fixed for Saturday Aug. 11th
MATCH An application from Willie Cook for a
W. Cook coaching appointment was considered, and it was
decided that he be informed that no opening
was available.
Mr. Humphreys A letter from this player was read,
intimating his decision to sign for Llandudno Town
for next season.
Mr. Juliussen A request from Berwick Rangers F. C. for
the transfer of this player was considered, and it
was agreed that Mr. Britton make further
enquiries, and make the best arrangements he
could with them.
Presentation Agreed that this should take place at
Dinner Bellefield at an early date.
Mr. Cummins This player had notified us that he had
21 decided not to accept the terms offered him, and it
was agreed that any Club interested in him should
negotiate with Mr. Britton.
A request from the Lancashire and
Cheshire Scottish Association for the use of the
ground for Highland Games was turned down.
? & It was reported that both these players
Eglington had qualified for a Benefit, and it was agreed
that application be made to pay them £750 each.
Mr. Britton reported his visit to Scotland
to see Cowan 72 (Goal Keeper) v Clyde, but he had very
little to do. Robertson (I. F.) Morton did not appear
to suit our needs. He was 21 yrs. old, 5'10½" & 11½st,
whilst ORR (Morton) was not of the goal scoring
type. He had been informed that Scoular was
to be retained by his Club.
