Bainbridge (I. R.)	Mr. E. Green thought he had a poor 1st Half
Tranmere R. 289	and a very good 2nd Half was still of the
		opinion that he would not do for the 1st Div.
		Mr. J. C. Sharp liked him, although he had
		faults, and thought he would be useful if the
		price was not excessive.

Massey (R. B.)		Mr. E. Green thought he was very crude played
Buy Res		somewhat like a novice could not recommend him.

Managers Report		Mr. Britton reported an the 1st & 2nd team games
		v Liverpool & Liverpool Res.
		Hold was in bed with fast poisoning & Fielding
		had stomach trouble.
		McIntosh & Catterick were now fit, and Lello
		was back home.
			Leyland's hand was now out of plaster.
			Bainbridge had a good game from an
		attacking point of view, but did nothing
		defensively against poor opposition. He was 5' 9" &
		11½ stone, and thought his price would be in
		the region £12,000 to £15,000. Agreed that Messrs
		W. C. Gibbins & N. W. Coffey see him an Saturday
		next & Bradford.

			A. Letter from Evergreen F. C. re Sutherland
		was read and it was agreed to send them a
		cheque for £25.

			The possibility of obtaining promising
		players from Dundalk & other Eire Clubs was
		mentioned and it was re-affirmed that the
		Manager had a free hand.

			Reported that the price required for
		Pritchard (L. B.) Wolves was £15,000, and
		although both Bolton & Leicester had offered
		this figure the player would not go. Mr.
		Horace Williams did not think he would do us
