Councillor Searle was elected to the Chair by an unanimous vote.
After the Finances had been dealt with, other items were discussed.
WASHING MACHINE.
Our present machine having become obsolete, and in view of the
extra needs to-day, it was agreed that the Chairman go into the question of
replacement.
71, WALLACE DRIVE.
Tenant of this house had asked for the provision of a 2 foot wall
between the ga dens of his and No. 73, to prevent the siltage of soil from the
higher to the lower level. Decision to be made later after examination.
PHOTO.
A Mr. Williams of Llanfairfechan had proferred a photo of an old Enland
team including Holt and Chadwick, dated about 1890. Agreed that we ask him what
price he wanted for it.
23, STANLEY RD, NEW FERRY.
Agreed that Buckle be asked for 30/- per week as rental of this
house.
29, ELGAR RD. KNOTTY ASH.
Agreed that this property be put up for sale with early vacant
possession.
