William reported that estimates Report had been received for work on repairing of roofing of gymnasium & joiners shop from R. Costain & Sons, Ltd., £87.0.0; Tysons Ltd. £80.0.0 & Frank Gatley, £73.16.2. On his recommendation, it was agreed that the last named be accepted, & that the work should proceed immediately. Players Mr. W. R. Williams reported that he liked 206 Day (O. R. or O. L.) of Southampton. He was stylish & did his job well. 232 Glover (C. H.) Stockport had possibilities, but could not recommend whilst his heading was not good. McGuigan had played well, & Cotter, so small, was speedy, courageous & persistent, & was very good. Mr. H. R. Williams preferred McCoy (C. H.) 236 Northants to Foulkes(C. H.) Walsall, He thought McCullough (C. F.) Northants, to be stylish & a good goalscorer Dooley (C. F.) Wedy. was 21 & promising.
