Agreed that this player and Greenhalgh be empowered to do the necessary decorative work at 73, Wallace Drive at cost. (108) CORR. Agreed that our staff re-decorate the house 29, Elgar Rd., immediately to enable this player to move in as soon as possible. (207) BUSBY. K. F. This employee having returned from R. A. F. Service, it was agreed that he be offered a re-engagement at £4 per week. GROUND STAFF WAGES. Decided that a recommendation should be made to increase E. Storey's wage to £8 per week, and T. Jones and W. Foster to £5/10/- each per week. (210) BIGDLEY RESEARCH STATION. It was agreed to adopt Mr. Britton's suggestion that we should become subscribers to the ground service given by this Station at an annual subscription of Ten Guineas. Also, that as with the trainers, the Assistant Head Groundsman should be sent to the Annual F. A. course, or at a more suitable time if possible, for the purpose of improving his knowledge of greenkeeping, etc. PERSONAL SERVICE SOCIETY.
