Duckhouse (B'ham) Mr. Green reported that this C. H. had
0 played an exaggerated form of 3rd full back. He
displayed no constructive work but just headed
the ball or kicked it. This style & method would
not help us in our present lack of goal – scoring.
(He fancied Griffiths, O. L., of Swansea.)
Day (Southampton) Mr. Gibbins thought this O. R. very promising,
204 & that he might do us some good. He was 5'8”, fast & courageous.
Allen (Port Vale) Mr. W. R. Williams stated that this O. R. was 22,
203. 5'7” & 10st. He might be likely, but was unskillful & no use at present.
