This matter was discussed and it was agreed that Mr. Lake enquire
into precedents concerning other firms of his knowledge.
E. L. PROVIDENT SCHEME.
0 It was agreed that we approve of this scheme in principle.
E. SAGAR.
162 Letter was read of Football League agreeing to a small presentation
being made to this player in kind and of a reasonable value. The value so
represented, not being in line with the Board's views, it was agreed that
this matter lie on the table until a more suitable time.
D. ROSE.
0 Agreed that this employee be recommended to have a 10/-
increase to £3 per week.
PAINTING STANDS.
Messrs Leitch quoted estimates of Messrs Tyson's for painting of
Stands. Agreed that if these were reasonable in the view of the architects,
they should be proceeded with according to their need.
FINANCIAL APPEALS.
Recommended that the Y. M. C. A. and Coal Trade Benevolent Association
be considered when allocating our practice match receipts.
SHREWSBURY SCHOOL.
Letter regarding this School's work in Liverpool was considered.
Decided to recommend that this should be further dealt with, when other
particulars had been obtained.
