Sub-Committee On the proposal of Mr. W. R. Williams,
Report properly seconded. the report & recommendations were

Smallwood Mr. E. Green stated that whilst this L. H.
(Spennymoor) was well-built & good, he was doubtful of him
being better than we had.
Stephen (Bradford) Mr. H. R. Williams was not enamoured
of this F. B.
Cropley (Aldershot) Mr. Coffey & Sec'y did not fancy this L. H.
but recommended Reynolds (G.) & Rowlands (C. H.).
Oscroft (Mansfield) Mr. T. G. Watson gave a very good
report of this player.
Ingham (Gateshead) Mr. L. F. Bryan did not recommend
this O. R.
Basford (Crewe) Mr. R. Bentham was not impressed
with this player.
