& confirmed.

Aikman-Arnison Messrs Green, Lake, & Secy. reported their views.
94 Whilst not terribly impressed with the former,
they were agreed that under the circumstances
it would be wise to obtain his services.
Arnison had gone to Luton for £9,000,
but it seemed from all accounts, that there
might be peculiar reasons why the player signed
before we had an opportunity to agree to the
suggestion of £10,000 as his fee.
Juliussen, (P'mouth) Directors & Secy., who were at Portsmouth

A medical certificate had been
called for in view of the doubts.
The price agreed was £10,500 and
further developments might be expected on the
1st September at our match.
