SUB-COMMITTEE MEETING HELD AT GOODISON PARK. August 6, 1948. Mr. W. R. Williams was elected to the Chair. Present:— Messrs W. R. Williams; E. Green; R. E. Searle; F. W. Lake and Sec'y. BASEBALL. It was agreed that no further baseball games should take place at Goodison Park. It was further agreed that the Everton F. C. team should play their games at Bellefield and that other applications for the use of Bellefield, be considered on their merits, by the Sub—Committee. DUNLOP SHOES. Agreed that we approve the issue of sheets bearing an advertisement for these shoes, along with our Club fixtures, for publicity purposes. DAVID ALLEN & SONS LTD. Recommended that we allow these advertising contractors a lease of two years of the Walton Lane advertising station at £50 per annum, to enable them to carry out certain improvements. 16, GOODISON AVENUE. Recommended that the tenant of this property be reimbursed the sum of £25 for improvements made in certain rooms which altogether amounted to £76.14.0, but that tenant should be notified of the necessity for our consent before any alteration be made.
