Aikman & (Falkirk) Mr. T. W. Lake preferred the latter to the former, 86 Humphreys (Motherwell) but unfortunately both players had been out of position. Mr. H. R. Williams thought that Aikman was more our class than Humphreys. He also liked Redpath (L. H.) Motherwell. Waddington (Chorley) Mr. W. C. Gibbins thought that this I. L. who & was 23, 11½ st & well-built, had played very well. Collins (Pollok) Further progress to date was reported. 87 Freeman (Peterborough) Mr. L. F. Bryan was very much impressed by this C. F. who was a Latvian International, 24 or 5, 5'11" & 11½ st. He was a D. P. Interpreter. Team v M/c Utd. The following was selected:- Sagar, Saunders, Hedley, Lindley, Jones, T. G.
