Berry & Hassall (Hull) Messrs W. C. Gibbins & W. R. Williams reported
54 no great interest in Hassall, from what they saw of him,
but in view of their information of Berry, who did not
play v Southport- a bid had been made of £5,000.
Secy. reported the club's idea of £6,000.
Noted that nothing would be done for a
fortnight, until we had further chances of seeing player,
& it was decided to make a decision after Dec.
20th.
McEvoy (Dundalk) Mr. R. E. Searle reported that he had offered
54 £ 1500 for this player, who had ultimately been transferred
to Woloevhampton F.C.
He recommended Downing O. L. Cork & it
was agreed that this player should be closely followed.
Other recommendations were noted.
Jayes (Notts. C.) Mr. R. Bentham did not fancy this I. L.,
0 but did like the O. R. Hubbard 23, 5'10" 11 st.
