Williams reported 54 no great interest in Hassall, from what they saw of him, but in view of their information of Berry, who did not play v Southport- a bid had been made of £5,000. Secy. reported the club's idea of £6,000. Noted that nothing would be done for a fortnight, until we had further chances of seeing player, & it was decided to make a decision after Dec. 20th. McEvoy (Dundalk) Mr. R. E. Searle reported that he had offered 54 £ 1500 for this player, who had ultimately been transferred to Woloevhampton F.C. He recommended Downing O. L.
