Minutes of Meeting of Oct. 29, 1947,
were read & confirmed.
Finance Receipts reported were:-

Cheques were signed for:-

Berry & Hassall Mr. J. C. Sharp was pleased with these
41 players, but in view of Hall City's letter asking for an
offer, it was agreed that we persevere in our request
asking them if they were prepared to part with either
or both.
Scottish Players Sec'y reported his feelings, that
43 Aitken & Dimson, East Fife, with Aikman, Falkirk
would be worthy players. Noted that there was no
immediate chance of securing any, but if the
situation altered, we would be informed.
Irish Players Mr. H. R. Pickering gave the following
44 reports:- Farrell (L. H. Cork) 19. 5'8" 10 st. not yet ready but promising
Burfee (C. H. Cork) 25. 5'11" 11 st. 8. Could not recommend.
Hamilton (I. L. Dundalk) 18. 5'7" 10 st. Very frail, & could
not recommend.
