Minutes of meeting of June 24th were
read & confirmed.
H. R. Williams, Esq., Noted that this Director had had an
21 appendix operation & agreed that in addition to the
letter already sent, some flowers should be forwarded
to the nursing home.
Finance Receipts reported included:-

Lyon J. Noted that this player had now been
22 transfer to Macclesfield for £100.
Saunders G. Noted that circumstances had provided
22 a satisfactory conclusion to this player re-signing
on the agreed terms.
Captain Mr. N. Greenhalgh was re-appointed
Captain with Mr. S. J. Bentham as Deputy.
Practice match Teams as suggested were approved.
Langton (Blackburn) Decided that we should not bid
for this O. L. who was 29.
Lello (Shrewsbury) Mr. W. R. Williams was asked to
17 negotiate for this man up to £4,000.
Marks (Gillingham) Secy. instructed to press further
enquiries re this players acquisition.
Clinton & Beck. Mr. R. E. Searle recommended these
