Present:- Mr. W. C. Gibbins (Chair); all other Directors excepting
Capt. T. Percy; & Secy.
Minutes of Meeting of the 16th inst. were
read & confirmed.
Bank Balance was reported £21,087.8.7 Dr.
Junior Grounds Secy. read Capt. Percy's letter with enclosure,
wherefrom it would appear that there was no possib-
ility at present of obtaining the land in Stopgate Lane.
Chester F. C. Letter read from Chester F. C. finally accepting
our ex gratia offer of £50.
S. J. Bentham Secy. reported the result of Mr. McMurray's
examination of this player's ankle & that he was to be
operated on, on the 26th inst.
L'pool Senior Cup The Annual Invitation to enter this
Competition was accepted, but the Council's suggestion to
invite Wrexham & Chester to enter was not approved.
Army F. A. Messrs W. C. Gibbins & G. Evans accepted the
Army Council's invitation to luncheon at Adelphi on Dec. 4, 1943.
Transfer of Shares Following transfer was approved:-
Shares Nod. 2394 & 671 from Xors A. E. Richardson to A. R. Wynne.
Next Meeting Tuesday, December 7 at Xchange Hotel at 4.45 pm.
