Minutes of Meetings, Ordinary & Finance of the 7th
inst., were read & confirmed.

Paining & Essential It was agreed that the Ground Committee meet
Repairs at an early date; view the Estate & recommend to the
Board what they consider is necessary renovation &
repair work, for which Licence should be applied.
Directors to Burnley All present excepting dr. C. S. Baxter.
Secretary reported the probable players avail-
able for this match.
Junior Grounds It was agreed that efforts be made to
obtain grounds suitable for football, in the vicinity
of Liverpool.
H. Jones Secy. reported this guest player's illness & confinement
to Westmoreland Sanatorium. He was instructed to make arr-
angement to provide some weekly gift of fruit &c., not exceeding
the value of 10/- weekly during the period of the Board's
pleasure & to bring this matter up again at the end of the year.
E. Wainwright It was agreed that should it be desirable
this boy be registered as a professional.
Player to Watch Reports were received of the good
play of Gordon Smith, aged 19, outside right of
Edinburgh Hibernians. Secy. was instructed to
get some further reports re this player.
