[Meeting held at Goodison Park, L'pool

Minutes of Meeting of July 20, were read & confirmed.
Secretary This official reported his release from
Messrs F. H. Porter's & his resumption of full time duties
at the Office of the Company as from August 9th.
The decision of the Directors made at
the Meeting of , was confirmed.
Team Prospects Secretary outlined the probable players
available both for the coming Saturday & for the Season.
It was agreed that the promise made to Burnley
F. C. to allow Lawton to play in their Charity game on the
21st inst. be implemented.
Regarding team policy throughout,
it was also agreed that this should be to endeavour
to get a winning team together.
Colts Ground It was reported that the Orrell F. C. were
prepared to let their ground for our use on alternate
Saturdays & possibly every week. Secretary was
instructed to negotiate at the best price he could get,
& it was decided that enquiries be instituted with
the view of ultimately securing this land.
Army in England v
do Scotland Secy. reported that this fixture was to
take place at Goodison Park on December 4, 1943.
Lancs. Senior Cup Chairman reported that this Competition
was to be run on similar lines to last year.

Shareholders Two enquiries having been made by
Mrs. Fisher & Wallace, widows of Shareholders who had died intestate
W. C. G. on each case leaving no estate of value, with
regard to getting the Shares registered in their name
