Season, the whole of the Clubs be called to a Special
General Meeting. Meantime support to be given to L'pool F. C.'s
proposals of £2 per match.
(b) That a competition on the lines put
forward by the Secretary, be approved as against that
holding good for the past two seasons. (Printed
copy in detail attached).
It was also agreed that our representative
support Messrs Smith (Manchester City), Wood
(Huddersfield T.) & French (Middlesbrough) for the
Management Committee.
F. A. Council It was agreed that Mr. E. Green be
(Division 3) nominated for this position, which prior to the
elections of Mr. H. H. Hughes, had been held by
the late Dr. J. C. Baxter. Mr. Green thanked his
colleagues for this gesture.
Lancs. F. A. Messrs W. C. Gibbins, E. Green & Secy. were
A. G. M. deputed to represent the Club at Accrington on the
5th June, 1943.
L'pool F. C. A letter from the Chairman of this Club,
was read, expressing their thanks for the services
of our player Jackson & their desire to reciprocate
if possible in the future.
Next Meeting Friday, July 9th, at Xchange Hotel,
at 5 pm.
