Com'ce of 7th inst., were read & confirmed.
Finance A cheque was signed for:-

Sub-Committee Report This was read & adopted (copy attached).
Hearts Players Mr. E. Green gave very good reports of Cox (R. H) 286,
McSpadyen 286 (R. B), McKenzie (L.B), McCrae 286 (L. B), Wardhough 237 (I. R)
the last named aged 17. It was decided that at the
first suitable opportunity, a deputation see the players,
& if they pleased, should approach the Hearts F. C. re
the transfer of those desired.
Witton Albion Players Messrs Green, Searle & Secy. reported their
findings on Dale 286 (O. R.) & no further action was decided
upon meantime. The former gave excellent reports
of Lochhead (I. L) an 18 year old amateur.
3rd Lanark Players Mr. J. Stein gave good reports on Kelly 235
(F.B.) & Mitchell (O. L), the latter about 23, 5'10", & 11st.
Decided that enquiries be opened &c. the
latter.
Irish Amateurs Mr. R. Bentham was not impressed with
Ewing 233 (I. L) but fancied Anderson (I. R. Ballymena)
who was 23, 5'11" & 11st.
Davies J. w. 270 Secy. reported that he had asked Wrexham
£500. Agreed that if this was accepted by the Club,
we apply for permission to pay £250 as accrued share of Benefit.
Team v Sunderland The team as suggested for this
match, was approved.
