Scottish Players Mr. E. Green was fully impressed with McCrae 269
the left I. F of Hearts. He could not recommend McGowan 276
R. B. Pastick Thistle nor did Mr. J. Stein, as compared to
Telfer of St. Mirren. Mr. R. McMurray reported that
he thought Telfer would be too moderate to include
in our 1st team.
Kirkman (Rochdale) Mr. R. Bentham was again impressed.
McMohan (Hartlepool) He thought this O. L. to be outstanding.
Marriott 207 & Starbrady's Mr. A. McArdle thought well of the former, 18 year
5'9", 10/10 O. R. of Scunthorpe & the latter, 21 year, 5'11", 12st
L. B. of Rotherham.
For immediate grading, he preffered to
take the chances of Tomlinson, at O. R.. If for reserved
purposes with future prospects, he preferred Marriott.
Hodgkins 270 It was agreed that Southport F. C. be
given a chance to take this player back, at a reduced
fee. Further action to depend upon their re-action & to
to be dealt with by the Secretary.
