Fenton Reported that the offer of £8,000 had
260 been made, & that according to the Press only,
no further, business was likely.
McMorran Messrs Gibbins & Sharp gave very
260 good reports of this player & reported that the Belfast
Celtic Club had promised to await our decision re-
garding their offer to transfer at a fee of £7,000,
until 7 pm. of this date.
It was noted that the Club had held
a meeting meantime & decided to retract from
their promise with the proviso that we would have
the ultimate first refusal.
