Wright Appointment of this groundsman at £5/10/- per week, was confirmed. Accrington Players Mr. E. Green was impressed by Webster (L. B.) Indexed Separately & Rothwell (I. R.). Mr. H. R. Pickering was more inclined to report well of Smith who had played (I. L.) than Rothwell or Webster who had played at L. H. the day he saw his team. Ardron (Rotherham) Mr. G. Evans did not recommend this 5'8", 200 11st, C. F. Hargreaves (Rochdale) Mr. W. R. Williams confirmed his previous poor 256 opinion of this 26 yr. old C. F. Bates (Holywell) Mr. R. E. Searle reported on this 26 yr. 5'11" C. F., who had scored 4 goals. He thought he might be worth a trial here, under the better ground conditions. Laidler (Carlisle) Mr. A.
