SUB-COMMITTEE MEETING. GOODISON PARK, August 20, 1946.
Present:- Messrs W. R. Williams (Chair), E. Green, R. E. Searle, C. C.,
and F. W. Lake.
HODGKISS. Sec'y reported the apparent disability of this man,
and it was agreed he be examined by Mr. McMurray, and
further action determined. It was noted that the Southport
Club denied knowledge of the injury.
PLAYERS TRAVELLING EXPENSES. Agreed that in cases of hardship,
due to the housing difficulty, these be paid for the
training period.
HOUSING. Decided to recommend the purchase of 4 modern houses
in one of the new estates, for the use of our married players.
PRACTICE MATCH PROCEEDS.
These were dealt with, and a list prepared (attached)
as a recommendation for allocation.
BELLEFIELD GARAGES.
It was approved that an offer of £25 be made for the
9 garages at Bellefield, with the long view of these
becoming an investment, showing, a large percentage of
profit.
