F.L. Meeting The Agenda of this London Meeting of
222 29th inst., was discussed. It was agreed that our
representatives sound the feelings of other Clubs & mainly
support the majority ideas regarding Prices of Admission
& Players Wages, with a recommendation that Accrued
Share of Benefit after 5 years service, should be
payable on a 100% basis.
Cardiff Players Mr. E. Green reported that Sherwood was
221 in his opinion, not good enough, but that Clarke
would be an acquisition. Decided we enquire if
the Cardiff club would transfer Clarke.
Langton (B. Rovers) Mr. H. Jones gave two poor reports of
the O. L. but Mr. Laine thought he was a good proposition.
Middleton Mr. H. R. Pickering did not think
217 this full back was any improvement on those
already on our Staff.
