Mr. W. C. Cuff Secy. read this Directors letter of the 10th

Club, as contained in our letter of the 6th inst.
Purvis & Govan It was noted that neither of these full backs
187 had played on Saturday last, due to injury.
Oakes Secy. reported request that he should visit
179 Palmerston Park on the 15th inst. for indeterminable
reasons. It was agreed that Messrs Gibbins & Green
watch the player on that date, accompanied by the
Secy., & report their views at the next meeting.
Staff (H. R. P.) Secy. reported H. R. Pickering's request to
143 be re-appointed as 'A' team Manager, upon his
demobilisation. Studying the difficulties at the
moment, the Board decided that there could be no
such immediate appointment. Secy. was instructed
